Nace a partir de un estudio donde se evaluó el nivel de desconocimiento que sobre el tema cultura patrimonial poseen los pobladores de la comunidad, por lo que se elabora e implementa una estrategia de comunicación que permita promocionar los sitios arquitectónicos: Casa Ramírez, la Iglesia Católica, el Casino Español, Liceo y el Cementerio para que sean apreciados y valorados como electos simbólicos e identitarios de la localidad. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa y el método de estudio elegido fue investigación-acción. Se emplearon diferentes técnicas: análisis y revisión de documentos, entrevista en profundidad, observación participante y grupo de discusión. El principal resultado a obtener ante la puesta en práctica la estrategia de comunicación promocional es que cuando existe integración entre las diferentes instituciones del Ministerio de Cultura Municipal, existe un enfoque sinérgico entre los diferentes organismos, empresas e instituciones educacionales o se utilizan adecuadamente los medios de comunicación en función de la promoción del quehacer diario de alguno de estos sitios patrimoniales o se promueve su historia se puede lograr un mayor vínculo y reconocimiento de estas instituciones con los pobladores, lo que favorece el nivel de comprometimiento e identificación con estas y los convierte en sus públicos objetivos .Palabras clave:Patrimonio, patrimonio cultural tangible (inmueble), comunicación promocional, estrategia. ABSTRACTThe present research was developed in institutions considered tangible urban cultural heritage in Cumanayagüa municipality. It emerged from a study that evaluated the level of knowledge the population of the community had regarding the topic cultural heritage. For this reason a communication strategy is elaborated and implemented to promote the architectural sites: Ramírez House, the Catholic Church, the Spanish Casino, the Recreational Society (guildhall) and the Cemetery; all to be valued as symbols of identity of the town. The qualitative methodology and the action research method were used. Different techniques were employed: analysis and review of documents, in-depth interview, participant observation, and discussion group. The main result to achieve, by putting into practice this communication strategy for promotion, is that a grater bound and appreciation could be achieved, from the population to the different institutions, when there is integration among the institutions of the Ministry of Culture in the municipality; a synergistic focus among the organizations, enterprises and educational institutions; and the media is properly used to promote the daily work and the history of these sites. The level of commitment and empathy of the community with the institutions benefits, and turn the population into their objective audience.Keywords:Heritage, cultural tangible heritage, promotional communication, strategy.
