El Espiritismo de Cordón en Cienfuegos: una mirada sociológica

Abstract

Este artículo realiza un estudio sobre el centro espiritista Luz y Amor y tiene como objetivo fundamental analizar la significación sociocultural que posee para los practicantes del Espiritismo de Cordón en el municipio de Cienfuegos. Se considera una novedad porque es único en su tipo en esta región. Para la profundización nos auxiliamos en el análisis desde la perspectiva sociocultural a través de la significación que le atribuyen los practicantes del Espiritismo de Cordón. El artículo posee distinciones, simbolismos y significados dentro de las prácticas religiosas espiritistas.

ABSTRACT

This article carries out a study on the spiritist center Luz y Amor and its main objective is to analyze the socio-cultural significance for the practitioners of Cordon Spiritism in the municipality of Cienfuegos. It is considered to be novelty because it fits as the only of this type in the region. For the analysis we help ourselves from the sociocultural perspective through the significance that the practitioners of the Spiritism of Cordon attribute to this practice. The article possesses distinctions, symbolisms and meanings inside the spiritualistic religious practices.
