La obra del documentalista Santiago Álvarez Román: herramienta para los estudiantes de la carrera Gestión Sociocultural

Resumen

El presente artículo sobre el repertorio: la obra del documentalista Santiago Álvarez Román está fundamentado en acciones desarrolladas por este cineasta, rindiendo tributo a sus obras y documentales más significativos; las que han sido reconocidas por la Unesco, por su alto valor socio histórico, artístico y patrimonial. El estudio se asienta a partir de obras y documentales recolectados de los años investigados. Teniendo en cuenta las principales obras, estilos, aportes de los documentales, noticieros en el país y en el extranjero. Es un análisis desde el paradigma cualitativo y etnográfico para el área de los documentales que permite caracterizar las obras más significativas de Santiago Álvarez del período que abarcado. El objetivo es que constituya un material de consulta para los estudiantes de la carrera Gestión Sociocultural, al momento de recibir la asignatura Cine Cubano.

ABSTRACT

This article about the repertoire: the work of documentary filmmaker Santiago Álvarez is based on actions taken by this filmmaker, paying tribute to their most significant works and documentaries; those that have been recognized by Unesco, for their high socio-historical, artistic and heritage value. The study is based on works and documentaries collected from the investigated years. Taking into account the main works, styles, contributions of documentaries, newscasts in the country and abroad. It is an analysis from the qualitative and ethnographic paradigm for the documentary area that allows characterizing the most significant works of Santiago Alvarez of the period covered. The objective is that it constitutes a reference material for the students of the Sociocultural Management career, at the time of receiving the Cuban Cinema subject.
