Contribución de la mujer rural en la CCS Conrado Benítez García: un estudio de caso

Resumen

En los tiempos actuales la equidad de género constituye un tema complejo, enraizado con mayor fuerza en el medio rural, donde persisten desigualdades entre mujeres y hombres para desempeñar sus actividades; lo cual ha provocado que se haya interpretado el trabajo que realizan las mujeres en las labores agrícolas como extensión de las labores domésticas, visibilizando de esta forma su aporte a las economías de los territorios. La presente investigación, Contribución de la mujer rural en la CCS Conrado Benítez García de Cumanayagüa: un estudio de caso, tiene como objetivo general analizar la contribución de la mujer en la producción agropecuaria de la CCS Conrado Benítez García. Para la realización de la misma se utilizó la metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa, el método general estudio de caso (tipología de caso único), así como diversas técnicas, entre las cuales se destacan: el análisis de documentos, la entrevista a informantes claves y encuesta. Se acudió a bibliografías actualizadas, lo que permitió una mejor comprensión del tema abordado. La investigación es pertinente, por cuanto se realiza por vez primera un estudio desde la perspectiva de género sobre la mujer rural asociada a la CCS “Conrado Benítez García’’ del municipio de Cumanayagüa. ASBTRACT In recent times, gender equity is a complex issue, rooted more strongly in rural areas, where inequalities still exist between women and men to carry out their activities. This has led to the interpretation of the work done by women in the agricultural work as an extension of the domestic tasks, thus making invisible their contribution to the economies of the territories. The present research, Contribution of rural women in CCS Conrado Benítez García de Cumanayagüa: a case of study. Its main objective is to analyze the contribution of rural women in agricultural production of the CCS "Conrado Benítez García". The qualitative and quantitative methodology, the general method of the case of study, the typology of a single case, as well as several techniques, among which document analysis, the interview with key informants and the survey were highlighted. We resorted to updated bibliographies which allowed a better understanding of the subject addressed. The research is pertinent because offers a study from the gender perspective on rural women associated with CCS "Conrado Benítez García", belonging to the municipality of Cumanayagüa.
