Un recorrido por la Danza

Resumen

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo esencial realizar un recorrido a través del tiempo y de la historia de la danza y realizar una caracterización de las artes danzarías. La danza es una forma de arte donde se utiliza el movimiento del cuerpo usualmente con música, como una forma de expresión, de interacción social, con fines de entretenimiento, artístico o religioso.Así, en el presente artículo, se realiza un recorrido por las dinámicas y polémicas de la danza y se desarrollaran temas importantes que incluye esta dimensión artística. Se abordan diversos temas como qué es la danza, qué la constituye, dónde encontrar los orígenes de la misma, se dará a conocer con mayor profundidad los tipos y géneros de danza que existen donde se hará énfasis en la danza contemporánea y moderna.Finalmente se dará una mirada a como se ha desarrollado la danza en nuestro país desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad. La danza en Cuba ha sido un componente esencial de la vida cubana desde que se trajeron aquí a los primeros esclavos del África Occidental en el siglo XVI. Es una de las bellas artes más simbólicas, principalmente se acentúa la necesidad de transmitir emociones y comunicar un mensaje a la audiencia.

ABSTRACT

The main objective of this work is to make a journey through time and the history of dance and to make a characterization of the dance art. Dance is an art form where body movement is usually used with music, as a form of expression, of social interaction, for entertainment, artistic or religious purposes. Thus, in the present article, a tour of the dynamics and controversies of the dance is carried out and important topics that include this artistic dimension will be developed. Various topics are addressed such as what is dance, what constitutes it, where to find the origins of it. It will be revealed in greater depth the types and genres of dance that exist where emphasis will be placed on contemporary and modern dance. Finally, we will look at how dance has developed in our country from its beginnings to the present. Dance in Cuba has been an essential component of Cuban life since the first slaves of West Africa were brought here in the sixteenth century. It is one of the most symbolic fine arts, mainly emphasizing the need to transmit emotions and communicate a message to the audience.
