La Danza como expresión del alma

Resumen

La presente investigación constituye un acercamiento a una de las más bellas artes que posee una inmensa carga simbólica a nivel mundial: la danza, la cual surge como una reacción a las formas del ballet clásico y probablemente como una necesidad de expresarse más libremente con el cuerpo, de trasmitir y comunicar un mensaje a la audiencia. Desde sus inicios como ritual mítico–religioso, hasta su ascenso y evolución, la danza ha constituido medio para el entretenimiento, llegando a formar parte de los gustos selectos de la más fina aristocracia, apreciado como expresión máxima de la marginalidad y el submundo. Este artículo también aborda las condiciones del surgimiento de la danza y sus fines, de manera genérica, hace un breve recorrido por la historia con el objetivo de procurar una mayor visión en cuanto a la transformación danzaria. Se da a conocer, además, aunque en menor grado el rompimiento de los estereotipos clásicos que forman parte del ballet estilizado, que tuvo a Isadora Duncan como la madre de la danza contemporánea, rompiendo cánones, bailando descalza. Por último, se realiza un análisis en Cuba de cómo ha evolucionado esta manifestación danzaria luego del triunfo revolucionario. Gracias a la fuerte labor del Ministerio de Cultura, de figuras cimeras como Alicia Alonso, de la creación de las Casas de Cultura y de toda la obra realizada por el Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro, con el fin de alcanzar una educación artística para las generaciones futuras. ASBTRACT The present investigation constitutes an approach to one of the most beautiful arts that has an immense symbolic weight worldwide: dance, which arises as a reaction to the forms of classical ballet and probably as a need to express oneself more freely with the body, to transmit and communicate a message to the audience. Since its inception as a mythical-religious ritual, up to its rise and evolution, dance has been a mean for entertainment, becoming part of the select interest of the finest aristocracy, appreciated as the ultimate expression of marginality and the underworld. This article also focuses on the conditions of the emergence of dance and its ends, in a generic way, makes a brief tour of history with the aim of seeking a greater vision regarding the dance transformation. It is also known, although to a lesser degree, the breaking of the classic stereotypes that are part of the stylized ballet, which had Isadora Duncan as the mother of contemporary dance, breaking canons, dancing barefoot. Finally, an analysis is made in Cuba of how this dance manifestation has evolved after the revolutionary triumph. Thanks to the strong work of the Ministry of Culture, top figures such as Alicia Alonso, the creation of the Houses of Culture and all the work done by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, in order to achieve an artistic education for the generations future.
