El papel de la mujer en la obra de Gabriela Mistral

Resumen

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el papel de la mujer en la obra de Gabriela Mistral, quien con su poesía construyó un lenguaje propio, según (Soledad Falabella, 2016). El texto que se presenta a continuación se centra en la lectura y análisis de poemas que Mistral título como textos relacionados con la locura. En este sentido se enfatiza la presencia de este tema en la sección Locas Mujeres del poemario Lagar. El trabajo presenta elementos de la vida de la poetisa, educadora y política, que se desarrolla en la etapa del posmodernismo de segunda mitad del siglo xx, que influyen en la obra poética. La lectura de estos poemas invita a seguir leyéndolos porque se reconoce en ellos una poeta viva, que logró llegar a lo más alto con el poder de sus palabras.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this article is to analyze the role of women in the work of Gabriela Mistral, who with her poetry constructed her own language, according to Soledad Falabella. The text presented below focuses on the reading and analysis of poems that Mistral title as texts related to madness. In this sense, the presence of this theme is emphasized in the Locas Mujeres section of the poetry collection Lagar. The work presents elements of the life of the poet, educator and politician, which develops in the stage of postmodernism of the second half of the twentieth century, which influence the poetic work. The reading of these poems invites us to continue reading them because they recognize in them a living poet, who managed to reach the highest with the power of her words.
