La dialéctica de lo ideal y la ideología. Aspectos metodológicos sobre lo simbólico en el estudio de la identidad cultural
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Starting from the definition of cultural identity as a process that advances, like any spiritual configuration, from consciousness, towards self-awareness and reason, some theoretical consequences that may appear as a result are contemplated. Especially with regard to nationalist ideologies and multiculturalism, as two contradictory aspects of any developing cultural process. The way of expressing cultural identity in a set of intangible meanings, expressed in signs and symbols, that is, in direct or indirect language, in relation to practical thinking about reality, is highlighted. Finally, methodological guidelines are offered to guide research on Cuban cultural identity today, seeking to identify and work with the appropriate symbols in an intelligent way, that is, in tune with the prevailing economic and social realities in the country. Keywords: Cuban cultural identity, Cuban culture, Ideology, Philosophy.
