Abstract

The need to improve cultural development programs in cultural institutions from a decolonial cultural perspective, constitutes a challenge in the current historical circumstances in which Cuba is developing. It is demanded that the cultural actions of the Cultural Development Program allow the development of the potential of the institutions as decolonial actors, that manage to motivate them, formally, to think critically about their practices, their relations with the community and their positions in their role of contributing to community cultural development. In this article, the need to resignify from a decolonial vision the Cultural Development Programs of cultural institutions and their projects that question what affects the cultural system and community cultural development is recognized, with the purpose of transforming it into a decolonial tool that contribute to the formation of a culture of responsibility and the strengthening of identities. Keywords: Cultural Policy, Cultural Management, Decolonial approach, Cultural Development Program.
