Abstract

The Cuban philosopher José del Perojo y Figueras is a particular case in the history of the Cuban intellectuality on the XIX century. He became popularize of neokantian ideas in Spain. He was a politician, journalist and critic. This article approaches to his work and the scientific and editorial treatment in Cuba. The methods used allowed to conclude that Perrojo is a relevant figure of the Cuban intellectuality. This article describes its eminently Cuban labor policy and the state off essay and scientific studies in Cuba about his work.
