Evaluation of the impact of the Scientific Production of the Center for Energy and Environment Studies
Abstract
The Center for Energy and Environment Studies, founded in 2005, is an institution dedicated to scientific research on issues related to energy and the environment. Its main objective is to generate knowledge to contribute to environmental and energy sustainability at a local, national and international level. This article will analyze the social impact of the Center's scientific production during the period 2013-2023. Two main methods will be used: 1) a bibliometric analysis to evaluate the quantity and quality of the Center's scientific publications, and 2) a content analysis to review policy documents, reports and other relevant materials, in order to identify how They integrate scientific findings into decision-making on energy and environmental sustainability. The results of this study will provide a comprehensive assessment of the impact of the Center's research in critical areas such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, cutting-edge technology, social impact and informed decision making. This will help highlight the Centre's commitment to sustainability and its role in developing innovative environmental solutions.
