Learning based on Universal Design to transform Law teaching
Abstract
In the academic training of law students, diversity in learning styles, abilities and cultural backgrounds requires inclusive and adaptive educational approaches. The objective of the research is to model learning based on Universal Design to transform the teaching of the Law degree. This study adopts a mixed approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods to explore the effectiveness of Universal Design for Learning in the training of law students. Surveys, interviews, and case study analysis are used to collect data on the implementation and outcomes of UDL in this academic context. Demographic data includes a diversity of ages, genders, and levels of study, providing a representative view of law students. Knowledge and perception of UDL, most students have heard about it, but their knowledge is moderate to low, which indicates the need for greater dissemination and training on this approach. Half of the students have had classes where UDL strategies were implemented.
