Abstract

The present research deals with the digital transformation of the company Ecovital, dedicated to the sale of purified water in the city of Puyo, Ecuador. The main objective of the study was the digitization of its administrative processes, particularly sales management. Using a mixed approach and the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology, a web application was developed to optimize sales management and improve customer experience. The results show a significant improvement in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, showing the importance of a structured methodology for software development and the need for effective organizational change management. The study reveals the importance of continuous staff training and effective change management to ensure successful implementation. Additionally, it emphasizes the need to continuously adapt and adjust digital processes to keep up with market demands and technological innovations.
