Supply limitations and their effect on the application of ICT in education
Abstract
The use of technological tools in the educational field has proven to be a key factor in improving the quality of learning. However, the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies in classrooms largely depends on the availability of resources. In this context, the insufficiency of technological supplies and materials represents a significant barrier for teachers, who require adequate infrastructure to integrate these tools effectively. This study aims to evaluate the impact of the insufficiency of technological supplies on the implementation of ICT tools in the classroom. For this purpose, research was carried out with a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. A questionnaire was designed, obtaining that the lack of supplies, such as computers, projectors, and Internet access, significantly impacts the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies, in addition, that training in their use is limited. It is essential that educational institutions invest in infrastructure and training to ensure that ICT is effectively integrated into the teaching process.
