Gestión turística del patrimonio natural en la agenda de gobierno del municipio Cumanayagua

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research aims to answer the question: How to contribute to the strengthening of tourism management of natural heritage from the Government Agenda in Cumanayagua municipality? To this end, a series of local actions are proposed to strengthen tourism management of natural heritage from the Government Agenda in the Cumanayagua municipality. Based on this, the theoretical and methodological budgets are based for the study of tourist management of natural heritage in protected areas and its contribution to Local Development, an identification of the heritage natural resources conserved in protected areas managed for tourism in the municipality is carried out, a diagnosis is made about the link between tourism management of natural heritage and government management in Cumanayagua. The research assumes qualitative methodology, the Case Study method and the main techniques for collecting information are interviews with key informants and document analysis. It is considered novel since it responds to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development goals and addresses a significant problem in the current agenda of government management in Cuba, the insertion of the management of natural heritage in the Strategy of Municipal Development of Cumanayagua.
