Proposal of didactic activities to strengthen responsibility in the citizenship education of primary school children
Abstract
The research was conducted at the Andrés Borroso Madrigal elementary school in Cienfuegos. The objective was to implement a proposal of didactic activities to strengthen the value of responsibility in fifth grade students. A non-experimental study of the pre-experiment type was assumed for a single group. A sample of 13 students out of a total of 87 in the center was used. Among the methods applied were the pedagogical test, the teacher survey, the observation of activities and the documentary analysis. In the diagnosis, once the information was collected, it became clear that there was a lack of responsibility in the fulfillment of the activities carried out in the school. However, with the implementation of the proposal presented in the subject Civic Education, a notable improvement in the way these students acted was evidenced.
