¿La música en la masonería o la masonería en la música?

Resumen

El artículo tiene como objetivo, analizar la simbiosis que existe entre la música y la masonería, a partir de las características que cada una muestra en su devenir histórico; una como manifestación del arte y la otra como asociación. En la actualidad existen diversos estudios sobre la masonería, pero pocos tratan el vínculo o el reflejo que tiene esta en la música como lenguaje universal de todos los tiempos. Compositores como Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn y otros, han sido objeto de análisis desde su filiación masónica puesta a la luz en obras como la obertura La flauta mágica de Mozart, y analizan propiamente la obra; sin embargo, las investigaciones no se detienen en el significado que tiene para la masonería esa música a través, de códigos, símbolos, notaciones musicales. La elección de uno u otro tema en la interrogación dudosa que muestra el juego de palabras del título, sólo responde a la fusión de ambas, manifestada en músicos masones.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the article is to analyze the symbiosis that exists between music and Freemasonry, based on the characteristics that each one shows in its historical evolution; one as a manifestation of art and the other as an association. Currently there are several studies on Freemasonry, but few treat the link or the reflection that it has in music as the universal language of all time. Composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn and others, have been the object of analysis since their Masonic affiliation brought to light in works such as the overture Mozart's Magic Flute, and properly analyze the work; However, the investigations do not stop at the meaning that this music has for Freemasonry, through codes, symbols, and musical notations. The choice of one or the other theme in the dubious interrogation shown by the play on words in the title only responds to the fusion of both, manifested in Freemason musicians.
