Preparation of educators to meet the needs of communication in Early Childhood
Abstract
Early childhood programs in Cuba are institutional and socially community-based, with diverse stakeholders, including educators. These programs are designed to provide comprehensive education for children in early childhood, which implicitly includes addressing the communicative element. In Cuba, the implementation of the Third Educational Improvement Program made it possible to update the dimension of education and communication development in early childhood. This paper aims to provide a theoretical basis for the preparation of early childhood educators in the educational care of children with communication needs. To this end, articles and theses were reviewed, which clarified the importance of educator preparation to meet the challenge of meeting the communication needs of children in the first stage of life.
