Pablo Picasso, su obra protagonista en el 2023 por el 50 aniversario de su muerte.

Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es realizar una caracterización, en síntesis, de algunos rasgos sobre la vida y obra de Pablo Picasso, uno de los mejores pintores del siglo XX, de los más reconocidos en el mundo, y el máximo exponente del cubismo internacionalmente. Esta caracterización se realizó a partir del examen de una revisión en varias fuentes que incluyen análisis de su obra, y de otros documentos. Los resultados permitieron identificar a Picasso como uno de los pintores más influyentes del arte en el siglo XX, quien no solo es recordado por ser fundador del cubismo, junto con el escultor francés Georges Braque, sino por su carisma, compromiso y creatividad.

 ABSTRACT

The purpose of this article is to make a characterization in synthesis, of some features on the life and work of Pablo Picasso, one of the best painters of the twentieth century, of the most recognized in the world, and the maximum international exponent of cubism. This characterization was made from the examination of a review in various sources including analysis of his work, and other documents. The results identified Picasso as one of the most influential painters of art in the twentieth century, who is not only remembered for being the founder of Cubism, together with the French sculptor Georges Braque, but for his charisma, commitment and creativity.
