Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic experienced by the world from 2019 brought with it substantial changes in our lifestyles, way of seeing and doing things, interpersonal relationships, work and, in addition; the study. The teaching-learning process was carried out under another vision, where non-attendance linked to virtuality played a determining role. In Mexico, as in the rest of the world, the subjects that the students received were located on virtual platforms to ensure that they received the necessary knowledge to continue their training. This reality led Physical Education to emigrate from a merely practical setting to a virtual environment. For this reason, the research is conceived with the purpose of designing playful activities that enhance motor skills in children aged 6-7 years, due to confinement by COVID-19. The methods and techniques applied made it possible to assess the changes that took place in children from 6 to 7 years of age at the Campo Escuela Joaquín Clausell school. Its pedagogical value is highlighted, not only from the physical development of the students in terms of the development of basic motor skills; but also, from their civic training in relation to COVID-19.
